Dr. Fatma Alyaquobi
following her degree of MSc in medical microbiology from Queen marry and Westfield University of London she obtained her FRCPATH in medical microbiology from UK and worked as Senior Consultant Microbiologist at Royal hospital. Subsequently she moved to DGDSC at MOH and hold position as a Head of TB and Acute Respiratory Diseases at the Department of Communicable Diseases since 2016. My core work is prevention, detection and control of TB, influenza and other respiratory diseases including COVID-19, MERSCOV, etc. Molecular epidemiology and utilizing the data to change policies through evidence-based approach is her current interest. Dr. Fatma enjoy nature and love discover new places.
