Dr. Norah Abdullah Alharthy

a highly qualified occupational health physician with extensive experience in both clinical and academic roles. She holds a Master’s in Occupational Medicine from Imam Abdurrahman Bin Faisal University, KSA, and completed a residency program in Occupational Medicine in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Norah also holds certifications in NEBOSH and IOSH for Managing Safety.

Since 2016, Dr. Norah has joined the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the Ministry of Health in Oman, where she is currently the Head of the Occupational Health Section. She has been instrumental in developing national strategies for occupational health and safety, reviewing fitness-to-work standards, and leading risk assessments for various healthcare and industrial settings.

Dr. Norah has also contributed to international projects, including the Green Hydrogen Ecosystem Readiness Lab and various committees related to health, safety, and environmental standards. She actively teaches and trains healthcare professionals and has been involved in several public health initiatives, including risk assessment and injury prevention in healthcare settings.
